Internet Blackout
I woke up this morning to find that Stephen Fry's fizzog had disappeared from my Tweetdeck and been replaced by a black square. Being only half awake, and only having installed Tweetdeck on Saturday, my first thought was "oh great, I've broken it!", but on reading further I realised that the Blackout is entirely intentional. Opinions on Levenshulme, Manchester, sought :-)
Since I know a lot of my f-list have links with Manchester, either current or in the past, I thought this would be a good place to seek some assistance for my friend lydiasings, who is looking for info on Levenshulme. Emergency adoption!!
When I picked up this ickle pink one as an egg she only had 7 hrs left to hatch, so even with the extra 1 day I got for picking her up in the abandoned section, she still only had 1.3 days, and no cracks in sight! So definitely a success story :-)

Recycle Your Tights
Hearing about this prompted me to clear through my drawer today and I've filled an A4 envelope with tights with holes in them - you know, the kind that try to strangle your big toe every time you wear them!! I don't normally ask my readers to take political actions for me, but this one I really do think is very important.
