The saddest thing about this strip is that at least 3 of the 6 probably exist somewhere. (I've noticed that many strips start with the real-world nonsense; their other panels only have similarities that are just too goofy to be true.)

Even worse are the ones I've heard of who take your scrip, announce they won't fill it, and then won't give it back to you.

And that wasn't with a customer looking for your standard funny-looking-wheelset for prospective protection, but with a desperate woman with an rx for a morning after pill.

I'm bringing my rocket launcher to hell with me to shoot at these morons.

if they won't fill it, they have to return it. you can call the cops for theft at that point. had it happen at the drugstore i used to go to. the moment the cops were mention, that script magically reappeared in the pharmacist's hand. i laughed my ass off and applauded the woman.

Yes. I heard about a case like that. Luckily, I think the pharmacist got into trouble for that. If they're not going to fill the script, unless it's a forgery, they have no right to keep it. They have to return it if the customer asks for it back, as long as the scrip wasn't filled.
