Sadly, it is true. I'm glad it doesn't happen at my pharmacy though. If it did, I would quit there on the spot. I will in no way or form support that kind of behavior. Nutuh-noway.

Lordy, I've missed your tirades. (The fact that I can't agree with you enough on this issue is only part of the glee: seeing as how Texas started this whole "Giving you birth control goes against my religious principles" crap, I laugh at how hard those same damn pharmacies are pushing penile malfunction medication. With some of those pharmacists, it still won't matter, because even the sheep run away.)

::shudders:: Living in Texas these days is probably like living in the Dark Ages...but with more cowboy hats.

Living in the Dark Ages implies that the Enlightenment is on its way. Life in Dallas is purely post-apocalyptic.

I'm with you all the way. I gave enough rants on this issue just over the women who take birth control pills for reason other than as a contraceptive, me being one of them.

Yeps. I know a lot of women who are using birth control simply for hormones, not for sex. Yet, they would be denied BC because the pharmacist probably doesn't care WHY they're taking it. They just see it as possible dead babies. Morons.

and to top it off, it's usually male pharmacists who do this. can't have us little women havin a say in these matters...

Of course not. We're supposed to be at home, making sure they have a cold beer and dinner on the table when they get home. ::yelps in pain:: Oh, my internal feminist just bitchslapped me.
