theres more to this then you're mentioning. i've worked in a pharmacy for 5 years now, and if someone did that, they'd lose their license.

Yes, perhaps, but in some states, they have passed legislation that make this practice entirely legal. The law also protects the job and license of the pharmacists who particpate in this practice.

All I can say is I'm SO SO pleased I don't live in the states. Here in Australia we don't have all this religous rights crap (and for the record I AM a christian). We have religious instruction in school and it's up to the PARENTS to decide if the kids attend or not.

Prescriptions are filled without question, and if somebody try's to force their views on others in the workplace, they are usually told to pull their heads in and get on with the job.

BTW I luv your rants, if I can't have fic updates I'll settle for these

I'm sorry. I should have been more clear in my rantage. ^_^ I didn't mean to infer that ALL pharmacists were schmucks in lab coats. The pharmacists I work with I respect quite a bit. What I meant, which I admit should have been communicated more clearly, is that when it comes down to it, a pharmacist's duty is to adminster the right medication to the right patient, with regards only to the patient's health, not the pharmacist's owm personal beliefs.

Sorry for any offense I may have caused you. This is what happens when I get bitchy and cranky at 3am. ^_^

so i was reading ur three am thing and omfg i haven't laughed that hard since a was a the "annoying one." No... really... but yeah. so u are like my idol. lame. or... llame. i understand this, and yet, i do nothing. i've never been refused birth control. so like, do people really do that?? cuz i'd smack that pharmi right in the ovary... or possible the face if it's a man.

holy shit...what the bloody hell is going there in the US??? How far they are going to go??? What can you do against it? Why does your rants always make me a roaring mouth-foaming beast that only wants to do carnage, and rip all males to shreds on the planet...? And probably deport all conservative christians to a far far away island possibly on another planet. I swear I vamped out just now.
