Ah, that's true, I have Pandora for new music. ^^ I've just been kind of going crazy without being able to buy anything new from iTunes or having access to the stuff I bought the other month, which is kind of petty, true.
I'd recommend that you save that money for textbooks. I know it's not fun, but textbooks are NOT cheap and any money you can get towards them will help. :o
But of course, if you choose to spend it on fun birthday stuff--go with books and anything by Haruki Murakami.
And now for unnecessary explanation.ryanitenebraeJuly 12 2009, 19:17:10 UTC
Well, the school I'm going to is. . .kind of unusual. There are a couple of textbooks I need(a specific Introduction to Ancient Greek that was basically written for my college, Euclid's Elements, On The Motion of the Heart and Blood in Animals by William Harvey, and I think a song book for Chorus, but I don't know the title. Somewhere later, I think after the first semester, I'll need a Ptolemy book and a Lavoisier book, and for textbooks, that's it for the first year
( ... )
I filled in two boxes, and you know what they are.
For just about anyone else, I'd have tagged other, and said video games, but any good games to come out soon I'm sure you'll purchase otherwise eventually anyway, or require a system you don't have (FFVII is 9.99 on PSN, BTW, so if you had a PS3, you wouldn't need my copy) and costs a bit more than 60 dollars.
One thing I really recommend getting is a water boiler. They are invaluable. Trust me.
Otherwise, I myself am sitting on a $50 gift certificate, so, uh. Not much help. ^^;
I voted all over the place and for all the "bug you in comments" options, because I will probably think of something to bug you about. Or have bugged you about. Or something along those lines.
We Never Talk About My Brother is uneven but has some really good stuff. . .and two really terrible short stories.
:P I guess in the long run the only person whose advice I sort of followed was Aya.
For school? Are they allowed? Awesome, thank you for telling me that. I mentioned this to my Mom and she apparently bought one for me a year ago for that exact purpose. Thanks!
By 'really good,' do you mean Last Unicorn level, Fine and Private Place level, or the better Line Between stories level?
