I began my birthday, one week ago, by building up to it the night before. A short dinner with maestrobiggs was followed by my first visit to The Edison, which began quiet, then blossomed right through fun and into remarkable. A catalyst if ever there was one, J gets the credit, both for inviting me, and for the resulting deep conversations that emerged
