I am so, so, so happy you didn't let this fic go. There's something about it this entire time that's been so vulnerable and quiet, and it's been a really good character study of Leslie. But this chapter was like a study of Ben, and I adored it. You're probably the best at writing really sincere, soft moments with them that never feel heavy. They feel important but light, and they fit. God this fic is just really one of my all time favorites, because it takes the characters seriously without losing who they are, which is hard to do with a comedy, y'know? Anyway I could talk forever about it, but I'm just glad that you haven't given up on this fic :)

Also, I'm really glad you liked this chapter. It was a bit of a tonal shift post-breakup, but I always intended for this to be about both of their families. I'm glad it felt appropriate.
