Ray and I are now officially signed up at a gym - I almost can't believe it. Of course, I'm strictly limited to no impact and no weight exercises for a while yet, but I don't begrudge the money. It's too darned hot to walk outside as much as I'm supposed to

Sometimes you don't miss someone until you don't have them anymore
My mom found out that one of her close friends died this morning. When I was growing up in Georgia, we lived in this big subdivision. There were a lot of families there with kids around the same age. I won the ebay bid on a beautiful white dragon from M. Pena of Windstone Editions and I cannot wait to get it in the mail! I wish I had hundreds and hundreds of dollars to spend on non-essential figurines... -
People are so amazing
I often complain about working in a retail pharmacy. In some ways, it is worse than many other retail jobs, since so many of our customers are already sick or in pain and therefore predisposed to utter crankiness.
