Most people think I am dead.

Its so funny whenever I get on aim. All these windows pop up with questions about how I am doing and what's going on in so and so's life. I know as friends, people are just being friendly... but it is still odd. You see how you've changed and others have changed and you wonder: what was the past? 90% of the time I am not physically at my desk. My computer is below my bed (bed raised 6 feet off the ground in modular furniture balanced by book shelves) and I am in my bed reading. Its not pleasure reading - its research for papers (23 books on the Mithras paper alone). I can't see aim windows pop up from my bed. Doesn't help that my screen saver always restarts making it look like I am not idle. Loads of people get annoyed thinking I am here (at desk) when not. I try to put away messages up, but I R lazy.

Besides you've told me 4 times your working at a liquer store. Of which two times I replied and got nothing back. What doe you ever fucking reply dick? :) It needs to be summer break so I can chat it up with you again.

Ah. That screen saver thing, that's what gets me. I was starting to get genuinely angry. Glad you've cleared that up.

Alas, come summer break, I'll be pretty fucking scarce as far as the internet goes. From now until late June, I'll probably only be online on sundays and between 9 and 11 pm on other days, minus the time spent out of town scouting apartments. I work like 6 days a week. Only reason I don't work 7 is because it's against the law to sell liquor on sundays. In late June, preparations for relocation commence, followed by a period of downtime while I get my shit right in Austin. After that, I'll be all over this internet shit, since I won't really be able to go out and enjoy the town much until I have obtained gainful employment.

Maybe we should set up an appointment?
