Then when they went for another liquor run, they dropped me off at my house. I fell asleep on thecouch and my mom woke me up, slightly inebriated, and started bitching ( Read more... )

did you ever consider that maybe she freaks out because you are turning into a worthless little drugged out whore.
no mother wants to see their child turn out that way.

That's not even why she hit me though. She came at me saying that I lost her phone (which was under the dining room table, right under where she had set it) and that somebody must have taken it, which was my fault. Not.

She couldn't even prove I was messed up, so she couldn't use it against me. I had just woken up.

Although your Mum really shouldn't have hit you, I do think you were also in the wrong. If you're inebriated and drugged up.. and then you fall asleep on the couch, what is she meant to think? You wouldn't have even known if people had come into the house when you were asleep. And though you might say that you locked the doors, things often go wrong when people are drunk. It's that one-in-a-hundred chance of you being drugged out and something happening to yourself or the house that scares the shit out of parents. The phone was just an excuse to try to get across the message that she couldn't put into words.

Anyway, hope it all works out. What happened to your New Years Resolution? It's only been a fortnight.

Tell the Counselor what you're thinking. How you feel. What you're concerns are. That's what they're there for. To listen, and to help.

::hug::

I hope things get better for you.
