Feeling like an adult

Now I have a (Japanese) bank account, health insurance, and a retirement fund.

Next up (before too long): A cell phone, an apartment, and a car.
Yep, I am still living on the second floor of a liquor store.

Above a liquor store? That's classic. Something you see outta a movie. What's it like?

Well, it's pretty high class and not open late at night. It's sort of part of the brewery actually. The second floor is pretty nice.
My only problem is to cook I have to use the stove behind the bar, and the temperature ranges from "Nuclear Apocalypse" to "Fires of Hell." I have burnt pretty much everything on that.

Dude, your life is such a manga it defies description. Let me know when the blue-haired chicks show up. I want in on that.

(Get a hot plate to avoid the fires of hellbar stove?)

that does sound pretty manga-life-ish. look out for those cool japanese cell phones...they're so cool you'll think the US is still in the stone age (yeah, pretty much).

"Yep, I am still living on the second floor of a liquor store."

Why would you ever want to move?
