It seems to me the most fanatic and strident people, are usually the ones who are the most insecure and conflicted.
If you were truly at peace, why would your words be filled with so much anger, vehemence, indignance and/or hate?

huh? fanatic and strident people aren't at peace, anyway, so why are you questioning their passionate words?

Well, yeah you're right, I shouldn't even bother.
But they still get to me somehow.
In an oblique way (I'm sorry, I should've made myself clear; I always end up writing in an oblique way when I'm lost in thought), I was reminding myself not to take too much stock in what people say. And to remind myself not to end up trying to compensate for whatever inner conflict by externalising the fight. :)

you can't help being you, my friend. the mind can never win the heart. the heart learns slowly, but learns for good. the mind learns fast, but forgets very very quickly.

Hey you

How have you been? :)

Well, my thoughts on this are that no one's perfect. People tend to forget themselves sometimes and carry on.

It's inevitable to get affected but it's also good to understand where these people are coming from.
