My arm is a little stiff from the cortisone injection yesterday. Still to early to say whether it has helped, but the pain feels more like muscle ache. This is to be expected, after all I had a needle through the muscle and almost as far as the bone. (Everyone did the same little 'eww' dance when I explained it to them. Sitting downstairs with a mug of coffee. The lights are off and the back door is open just wide enough so that I can hear the rain falling, but not so wide that the duvet I am wrapped in is insufficient to keep me warm. The gig on New Years Eve with ingenue_the went about as well as a gig can go. Even though we've not really played a B-Movie set together for four years or more and the crowd was a new one (in as much as very few of the old B-Movie crowd were out for it) I think we read the dance-floor nicely; worked out what they wanted and where they needed to be taken.
