Last night was eventful. I can say, for the most part, the match was not on a personal level. When I go out there, I focus on doing what I have to do, on performing at my best. But I do get in a zone, so I may have kicked a little too hard, yanked his hair a little much, but not with malevolent intentions ( Read more... )

I'm always going to worry about you, whether it's necessary or not. I can't help but to care. I love you.

And you've have a rough couple of nights so if you need to head back home you know I will completely understand. I just want you to take care of that back, bruises and all. :\

I was stubborn and sucked it up for the rest of the show, and the post-show celebration of my father's birthday.

You should've said it was that bad and gone and rested. I would have understood. But I'm glad you were there. More glad than perhaps you realize.

Despite anything said in "news sheets" or anywhere else, and despite the very true friction we may have between us at times, when business is put aside, I have a deep sense of pride for my father, as I know he does for me. He's not nearly the man most paint him out to be. And even if he were, he's still my dad.

I've come to realise that we won't all ever agree on anything, business wise. Sometimes, mixing business with family is not a good idea. I'm proud of you too. I've been extremely proud of the way you've conducted yourself sionce your return. Don't under estimate how much you can do in that ring. Or what you can do outside the ring, either. You're a wonderful son.

Thank you again for being there Sunday night.

I hope your back starts feeling better quickly. Despite you not being a wrestler and not training as much as the rest of us, I happen to think you're still very talented.
If you're feeling up to it Friday night, would you and Sean like to come out to lunch with Glenn and I before the house show?
