The first week of school is officially in the books. It is and was the most hectic week of my year. It's difficult to tell where this year will end up, but I like the excitement of finding out. I did hear today we have a trip to the zoo planned. I like the zoo.

School is done Thursday. 2 full days and 2 half days to go. Most of my supplies are moved to my new room. Still more to go this week.

51 days of school left after today. I printed out a flag with 50 stars (plus 2 for Monday and Tuesday) and I'm crossing them off each day. Yesterday was not a good day whatsoever. I broke some glass (on accident, cut my hand, got angry at the kids and Army Rob hasn't contacted me in 6 days. Not good overall. So I made dinner for myself, worked out ( Read more... )

Monday I met Rob the Army Reserve guy. Very nice. He is supposed to call tonight. He said he had Wednesday night free. (Better than strawberries and whipped cream-and for me, that's saying quite a bit).

We'll see what the Army guy, Rob, has to offer.....it's exciting thus far.

How sad is this. I got the key to the school so I could use the faster internet connection to get Detroit Tiger baseball tickets this morning. They go on sale in 7 minutes. My mom, brother and I are going to opening day in a month. Who-hoooo!

Well, I took 1/2 day off for an appointment and then I'm leaving for Lansing. I have rehearsal tonight and then 2 concerts tomorrow with 2 groups-Blue Lake and the Winds. Band full day. Either way, I get the afternoon off.......I need it whenever I can get it.

I'm not sure exactly about Jerry at this point. It's difficult because we did things backwards. We talked and got to know everything about each other and then met. I guess we are still catching up, so to speak, on dealing with each other in person. He comes back March 5. He wants me to go to his neice's birthday party. We'll see how it goes, I ( Read more... )

Jerry called last night and he is flying to the U.S. today. He has a short layover in Ireland so he is going to try to call from there. I'm just so excited to meet him. He told me he wants to outdo himself for Valentine's Day. Hmmm.

Work is the continuing work in progress, but I have things I'm looking forward to. My grad. class ends Saturday too.

He'll be in the USA in 2 days. He called last night from Kuwait. Getting closer to meeting him.
