Chapter 10: Back to the beginning
Aiba woke up with pounding headache and sore body. This last thing was probably because he laid on the backseat of Jun’s luxurious car and his hands were tied behind his back tightly. It really wasn’t the most comfortable position and who knows how long he lay there like that?
‘No, no, no, no!’ Aiba thought panicked and started to struggle hoping he can get out of the bonds but of course it was useless. The other man turned out to be pretty expert with bonds… The only thing Aiba managed with his wild trashing that Jun noticed he woke up. He looked at the boy through the rearview mirror.
“You’re up finally…” he commented. “We’ll be home soon…” he added.
“What?” Aiba’s eyes widened at this.
He tried to sit up properly - which turned out to be a pretty hard task with tied hands - and looked out the window. The scenery was indeed nothing like the beach area around Sho’s town. Highlighted houses and skyscrapers illuminated the darkness around them in the distance. Aiba started to panic again.
“No! No, no, no!” he shouted and tears filled his eyes. “Stop the car! Stop the damn car right now! I don’t want to go back! You can’t take me back!” he shouted kicking the back of Jun’s seat as if he could emphasize his words this way.
“Stop it!” Jun shouted back at him without turning toward him. “You’re acting as a stupid, spoiled brat! I told you once already but I tell you it once more: you’re mine and it’s final. You can do nothing against it so just accept it finally. We’ll hold the wedding once we’re back and after that I don’t want to hear anymore of this non-sense from you!”
“I won’t! Never!” protested Aiba but in the same time he caught Jun’s glare through the mirror and realized at this point if he fights more, he’ll just suffer more from this man. He collapsed back on the backseat and didn’t try to hold back his tears anymore. “Sho-san… please… come… take me back…” Aiba whispered between choking sobs.
Jun watched the boy with a stern face.
After all, the boy was right when he accused him of not caring about him. He really didn’t. From the beginning this whole marriage was just pure business to him. He had to admit this business had some pleasant side effects, though. Aiba had a pretty face; soon he’ll graduate from a prestigious university and of course he’s the heir of the biggest company in Japan. Shortly, he was someone who was perfect to stand next to THE Matsumoto Jun… for a while… It wasn’t a secret that Jun never planned to keep this marriage up for too long. After a few years maybe, he will call it off. Or he planned like this so far… But this escaping and rebellion on Aiba’s behalf changed the table completely…
‘Like hell I will loose against a bunch of punks…’ he thought angry and sped up…
Sho - after only a few hours of sleeping - dragged himself out of his apartment. After he worked till dawn on that boat - which turned out didn’t brake because of Aiba - he still had a lot to fix on it. But right into his doorway he bumped into Nino and Ohno.
“Hey, good morning, aniki!” Nino greeted him, annoyingly refreshed to Sho’s opinion. “We thought to drop by and visit you two…”
“Where’s Ma-chan?” Ohno asked.
Sho blinked at them.
“You should know that. He went back to you yesterday, didn’t he?” he asked back confused.
“Aniki! You think we’d come here if he’d be on our place? And anyway, we agreed on he’s staying with you…” Nino huffed. “Now, enough of this joke… It’s not funny…”
“But he’s not here either…”
“You mean you don’t know where he is?” Ohno asked frowning.
“Aniki! What did you do?”
“Well… Yesterday one of the boats… I think I… kind of shouted at him…” Sho scratched his nape guilty. “Then it was late night when I finished and he wasn’t here… I thought he want back to you…”
“And you didn’t come to check on him? Let alone bring him back? What kind of lover are you? Hidoii!” Nino said in horror. “What if that bastard took him?”
Ohno then reached his hand out and took a piece of paper what was pinned onto the nametag next to Sho’s door.
“What’s that, Oh-chan?” Nino asked frowning and took the paper from his boyfriend.
He quickly read the short note then glared at Sho.
“See what you did? He rather decided to go back to Tokyo then staying here!” he said waving the paper in Sho’s face.
“No way!”
Sho grabbed the paper from Nino’s hand. Ohno stood next to him to be able to read it too.
“That bastard!” Sho cursed. “He took Masaki…”
“What are you talking about? Can’t you read, aniki? He wrote himself that it’s his own decision…” Nino huffed again. “And it’s your entire fault!”
“No; it’s not Masaki’s handwriting…” Sho said.
“It isn’t?” Nino asked surprised and peeked at the paper again.
“No” Sho and Ohno said in union.
“You can check it on his school papers what still at your place…His writing is much messier…” Sho chuckled a bit.
“And I highly doubt that Ma-chan would go back on your own free will…” Ohno said and the other two looked at him questioningly. “I mean… you didn’t see him when I found him… He was scared and lost but it was obvious that he’s rather choose anything than going back to wherever he was coming…” Ohno said and shrugged his shoulder; he wasn’t sure his explanation had any sense but Sho and Nino seemed to understand him and they nodded.
“Okay, now enough with this nostalgic chit-chat…”
Sho crumpled the false letter and dropped it to the ground.
“Wait! What are you going to do, aniki?” Nino ran after the older man who was heading to his motorbike. “You can’t just march in his house and take him out!”
“Still that’s what I planned to do!” Sho said determined and reached for his helmet.
“No! Aniki, please! That won’t work… actually, I think, that might just worsen things now instead of helping…” Nino tried to convince Sho.
The older man was always hot headed and used to run into the wall head first. Suddenly Nino almost felt nostalgic, if it wasn’t such a crucial time… When they were younger; he always had to hold back Sho from jumping into fights without thinking, cause the older man was strong and he thought like this nothing can stop him…
“Kazu is right, Sho-kun…” Ohno said walking to them. “This time we need a proper plan to save Ma-chan…”
Sho sighed.
“All right… What’s on your brilliant mind?” he asked finally giving in to the couple…
Aiba stared out of his room’s window. As if the weather was sympathizing with him, it rained non-stop since he was back to Tokyo. But it was all the sympathetic gesture he got from anyone. His father was more than furious and slapped him as soon as Jun dragged him in front of the man. Aiba never thought that his father would be happy or congratulate him to his escape but he didn’t expect this either. Even his father never spoiled him or anything; instead treated him really strictly, he neither hit him ever.
Aiba sighed. He felt lost, lonely and missed Sho, Nino and Ohno a lot. Especially Sho… Though, the older man probably was still mad at him…
“Gomen ne, Sho-san…” he whispered weakly and blinked back his tears.
Deep in his heart, he hoped that they’ll try to find him after his disappearance. But four days passed and nothing happened so he guessed Jun provided for them to think he left on his own free will…
Aiba raised his hand and wrote Sho’s and his own name on the vaporous glass of his window and drew a heart-shape around it. He smiled at the childish drawing sadly but the heard his room’s door opening so quickly wiped it away.
It was unnecessary to turn around to know, it’s him; still he moved to face him.
“What do you want, Matsumoto?” he asked the other man.
During the past four days he was literally locked up in his room and no other but Jun could enter. He even brought Aiba’s food personally, though the boy hardly touched any of it, out of protesting. Not that anyone would really care about if he was eating or not…
“You shouldn’t talk like that to me…” Jun warned him.
“Or what?” Aiba asked. “You already robbed everything from me so there’s nothing more I can loose…” he said turning his head away.
Jun smirked and strolled over to the boy pinning him to the wall.
“Are you sure there’s nothing else I can take from you?” he asked on a low voice touching his body.
Aiba felt disgusted by his touch. It was nothing like Sho’s touches and after he gave himself to Sho willingly he felt even more disgusted that now Jun wants to take it with force. Aiba felt he will throw up in any minute.
“No! Don’t touch me!” Aiba struggled.
Jun grabbed his shirt at this and slammed the boy hard into the wall. Aiba whimpered in pain but Jun didn’t care about it. He tugged on the collar of his shirt tearing it and pressed his mouth onto the crook of his neck sucking on it roughly Tears slid down on Aiba’s face when he felt Jun’s hand on his pants. He kept struggling, fighting to push Jun away and accidentally he scratched his neck, leaving bright red scars on the man’s white skin. Hissing at this Jun stepped back and immediately slapped Aiba’s face hard.
“Stupid bitch! This was the last time you went against my will!” he shouted at him, touching the scars. “Tomorrow we’ll have that fucking wedding. And before you think about anything stupid… remember that your precious, little friends will pay for your tricks…!” Jun threatened him then stormed out.
The lock turned closed and Aiba felt as it was the lock on his prison for the rest of his life. The world turned black around him and he collapsed onto the floor unconscious…
