Arlo was just a bad man. I never know what Helen saw in him - or Raylan's mom. Which is why I think that maybe he wasn't as bad as we thought...why I had hopes for a John Winchester thing.
We never knew Raylan's mom but she had to be a pretty smart cookie and Helen? She was strong and solid and loved Arlo. What did they see in him? There has to be something redeeming. It makes me think I should write an Arlo fic - why I don't know. But he is a puzzle, like JDM was. *ponders*

In any case, I'm glad you gave it a chance. Not being a part of one fandom in a crossover can be difficult. I'm thrilled that you likje the bits of Sam and Dean we see her, through John's POV.
I'm glad you like John. I love him. That being said, he is an asshole at times! Still, in my head, everything he did (right or wrong) he did because he loved the boys.

With the shitfest that has been my life, it feels good to be able to write a bit. The act of putting pen to paper, or keyboard to paper is comforting somehow.
Thanks.

I loved the way that John could tell Arlo was the one to watch - absolutely right of course.
You don't need to bother responding to this. *Hugs*

Arlo was a pretty cool character. I so wanted him to be a misunderstood John Winchester for Raylan but Arlo turned out to be far more of a pisspoor father than John ever was. John wasn't perfect, but I think he was a good dad (although he made some really dumb choices)
Thanks so much for reading and taking the time to tell me you enjoyed.
