Maybe Caeranis was an outlet for your negative emotions, helping/allowing/facilitating any real-life doormatness?

I didn't intend her to be (at least not until recently). But you know how it is with the internet. People lose their inhibitions, start trying out new identities and modi operandi in the safety of anonymity. Of course then what happens is that I spend half my time being Dae the great and troubled leader, or Cae the insouciant hellion, and lose so much interest in real life that I don't care enough to try and not be a doormat.

Should stop getting so emotionally involved in all my characters. Or at least set them in a world I control.

Happened before I met you - I've just kept it quiet. :P

I think most of you who are reading this, who know me in real life and/or have never played Achaea with me (druidoftheoak, you don't count) can agree that I'm a nice, intelligent, thoughtful person who's become something of a doormat in recent years.

I can both agree and relate. Let's hope things pick up for the both of us, mya?

Let's hope you don't take the same route I did. It's not worth it.
