After nearly five years on livejournal, I'm tired of talking about myself, and you all must be tired of reading it. I work, I fence, and unrequited interest keeps biting me in the ass. I like it. It allows me to still feel somewhat connected. More so than seeing you for 5-10 minutes at a time 4 tournaments a year does.

And with the overlapping friend communities your posts provide a venue for me to maintain connections to those people as well.

While I respect as completely reasonable your decision that you're tired of writing about yourself (god knows I rarely post on MY LJ), at least speaking for myself, I'm not tired of reading it and hope that this comment (and those from Kestral and Gnorph) help encourage you to rethink your decision.
