Are you one of those people that doesn't throw away anything? I tend to be until I move. Given that my family moves about every 4 years now whereas previously it was every 6 months to a year, what I hoard can be ridiculous

Every move stresses me out because I know how hard it is for people who have not moved and especially out of state to keep in touch. Even with social media being something really easy, my kiddos and I lose friends and never recover them.
LJ has changed, for sure. It seemed like it happened all at once. And I understand that people only have so much time for social media sites, of which there are SO MANY.
But twitter is a total mystery to me. I have a hard time following the conversation and FB is just too public so I suppose I'll be here for the long haul, even if I'm a bit sporadic about posting.

My daughter and I found a coke bottle with Bradley's name on it but for the entire time we have searched, we have not found Colin. We really wanted to do a Coke bottle pairing like the one in your user icon for Merlin.
Hey you! I'm aroundish and watching my flist. I know what you mean though. I hate the loss of community and the only place to find community + people = FaceBook and Zuckerberg and I are never going to make nice.
Yeah, I hear you. Facebook is very hard to take seriously when the app controls your feed and wading through all the pushed posts takes an hour to find the posts of your family and friends. If my mom were not on Facebook though she would never see my son.
