I spent Thursday and Friday in Tampa at a Marketing Summit. It was incredibly awesome finally putting faces to all the names I see every day on emails. There's a bunch of change happening and reorgs going on; the summit was a cross between a brainstorm and a wishlist. Oi! Just spent $200 to get a "puss factory" (as the vet called it) drained from our cat's backside. Poor little Sammy is running around drugged up with a cone on his head.

Life as I know it is going well. It's been three weeks since we first got the Emma Dog and she's been an absolute joy to have. She is sweet, playful, smart, and every bit as stubborn as a 4mth old puppy should be. Our current guess is that she's a mix between a Great Dane and an English Pointer. Well, the EmmaDog is officially home and doing quite well. She is sweet as sweet can be and 110 percent puppy. It's hard not to imagine her flopping through the wall as she's going around the room with leaps and bounds. No clue how big she'll get, but if her paws are any testiment, she should be able to hold her own regardless ( Read more... )
