...So, Fate is gone...

This is going to make matters more difficult. She may not have liked it, but Fate was skilled at what she did.

Now all the responsibility of drafting plans falls upon me. At least we have a solid defensive plan for the time being...

...It's almost Easter. Everyone, be on your guard.

What are we on guard for exactly?

Mayfield likes to initiate "events" during holidays.

I've... been hearing about Easter but I don't really know much about it.

Just that rabbits are important to it for some reason...?

Ah, well, that's... That is more the secular culture surrounding Easter. It's primarily a religious holiday within the Christian faith.

Oh...

... so what do rabbits have to do with it? ((She cares more about that than anything else))

Tradition holds that, the night of Easter, the Easter Bunny leaves out baskets of candy for young children. It's a tradition similar in nature to the tradition of Father Christmas.

I shall.

Good. I don't want to see anyone caught unaware by what Mayfield decides to do for this holiday.

If you don't mind me asking, what exactly happens around here on Easter that has caused such an alarm?

The problem isn't so much that it's Easter as it is that it's a major holiday. Mayfield likes to put the town through events during major holidays.

Did something strange happen on Easter last year?

I don't know. I wasn't around for Easter last year.

I can assure you that I am. Though I would be more worried about Liar's Day.

Liar's Day? I've not heard of such a holiday.

You might know it better as "April Fool's"
