Territoriality is in all dogs. What got me concerned was the under 16 years old warning, you would need a secure yard to ensure your neighbours' kids don't get in your yard.

"resources" could even mean one of you. Our dog (Winston the Beagle) thinks James "belongs" to him and will always try to get between us.

With "behaviour training" comes a huge time commitment, you can't put it off. It's a big job. Plus you have to walk your pup, scoop poop and be on fur patrol!

BUT, it is hugely rewarding to have a puppy! The walking and the games. Plus, it's someone else to talk to when the other is out! But that just might be me!!

Apparently, after checking with Sam's girlfriend who works for the SPCA, this is not the dog for us.
There are pros and cons to having a puppy.
A puppy is a lot of work.
However, theres something about having it from the get go that interests me. I don't want kids, so I think it's kind of something with the same idea, but LESS work.
I spend a lot of time on my own when my James is on nights, so I'd kinda like the company..which is what you were saying about having someone to talk to.

As for what's available right now, I'd go with this little girl:

She's got a sore ear, but that should clear up soon. She's sweet.

xo.
