Beavertails

I just read that a beavertail is a type of food. Please tell me it's not seriously a beaver's tail.

'beaver tail' is the exact same thing as 'elephant ear' - gigantic sugar-coated pancakes pretty much

i've heard it described as 'fried dough dipped in stuff like cinnimon, chocolate etc etc'

I've actually had a beaver tail when I was visiting Toronto.... delicious! :)

It was pancake-esque, but thicker than your average pancake... with cinnamon and sugar on the top. Tres yum!
