Buzzy has unearthed one of my favorite memes, as you can well see. I’m warning you though, this may be more difficult than ever before, now that Pandora has been invented, I’ve increased my indieness by 100 fold ( Read more... )

That's still pretty impressive. I knew you'd get the Polarboy song, but I was surprised someone would get the P.O.D.

I don't think I've listened to P.O.D. since high school, but I somehow still recognized it. :-)

3)Gives You Hell - All American Rejects
7)Swing Life Away - Rise Against
19) Annie Waits - Ben Folds Five (or was it technically Ben Folds? Eh.)

I looove Swing Life Away. Could I bother you to send me a copy?

Also, I'm surprised I knew any! Usually you stump me pretty well.

A friend request swing life away for me on the radio and I instantly fell in love with it. Then I realized how talented Rise Against was that they could make a song like that and a song like Collapse (Post Amerika) How best can I send it to you? I've never tried file hosting before.

18) Reel Big Fish - Why Do All Girls Think They're Fat?

I lack the words to properly convey how truly ashamed I am that I know one of the songs on your list.

Why do you and Brandon always have to be haters? You think I have a terrible taste in music why again? Because it isn't epic eurometal or ancient 60's folk? Brandon's mad because I don't appreciate country or industrial grunge? You are an elitist in all things, including your eclectic musics. Also anyone who doesn't appreciate Ska must question if they have a shred of happiness in their soul

Joe, there are five fundamental force that hold the Universe together:
1) Electromagnetism
2) Gravity
3) The Strong Nuclear Force
4) The Weak Nuclear Force
5) Making fun of your music

We don't think you have terrible taste in music. I spent four happy years with your playlist droning in the background. I downloaded about half your songs. I deleted five of them from your hard drive, forever, to make my procurement of them complete. However, if I were to relent in my feigned dislike of your musical tastes, we might lose Neptune to the endless blackness of space. We can't afford to lose another planet, Joe.

If I honestly disliked anyone's taste in music, it would be Brandon's. I just can't get into country.

Also, Clair thinks the only music I listen to is ska and Flogging Molly. She has yet to discover that I listen to epic metal.

2. Jimmy Eat World -- Pain

5. Creed -- My Sacrifice

6. Breaking Benjamin -- Skin

Thhhbt. I knew some of the others but was beaten to the punch. Love the Jimmy song -- probably one of my favorites. Have you ever seen them live? They were the opening act for the Foo Fighters last year, and it was awesome.

Ahh someone to appreciate my 90's rock side. Pain made one one of the best Pandora playlist. I've never seen them live but I desperately wish that I could. Good work!

Yup, I think you and I could listen to each other's iTunes library and have very few complaints. I found another one, but can't think of the title. I think 9 is an Anberlin song. Man, just checked my library, and it's one I don't have. Epic fail. Dismantle, maybe? Something like that.

You're close enough for the Anberlin song. They did a free concert of the Cities album at MSU and I was shocked at how many people hadn't heard of them. My friend won a signed CD and gave it to me. What a great album, start to stop.

I knew I could count on you to get the obscure Eve 6 song. They rival Offspring and Jimmy Eat World as my favorite 90's band of all time.
