I think I'm allergic to papers

I have a 20 page paper looming over my head. Even though it's not due for 5 weeks, and it's on a topic that I absolutely LOVE, the very idea of a 20 page paper turns my stomach. I need to get started on the reading (as in, I've been "waiting" to start all afternoon), but I'm terrified of this paper

What subject is your paper about that makes you so excited? I'm surprised you have such a long paper due. I never wrote one of that length until grad school.

The longest paper I've had to deal with so far was 12 pages. My prof had assigned 15, but cut it down the week before it was due (though mine was already drafted, past 14 pages...I cut it down at the last minute as well

I want to go to a Rennaissance Fair! That sounds like a lot of fun. A group of girls from my school always go to one, but I wasn't good enough friends with them until this year AFTER the Fair to go. Ah, well.

Silk is really nice. I don't actually OWN any silk, but I remember when I was little adoring anything my mom owned that was silk. Oh, and when I was little I had a silk pillow I loved. There's a reason it's so expensive--it's such a lovely material. The miniskirt is adorable, and I'm sure you'd look great in it. But, since I'm a cheap Scot, I'd probably never end up buying it. But, then again, I haven't bought any clothes that weren't moderately priced. Ever. Because I'm a cheap Scot.
