I am waiting for the extended version of the season. *Nods* Because obviously, there are like another 4 episodes worth of stuff just floating around out there, waiting for someone to go, "Oops! We totally forgot to air those! Quick, let's do another season finale and make it FOUR HOURS LONG, and then tag the one we've already aired as a SPECIAL EDITION!"
Yup.
Other than that, it was funn-ish. Y'know? Poor Zachy.
You ready to start writing? Once we take up that collection AND hand them the scripts, they'll have no choice but to film! So I'm thinking: a "missing" episode from earlier in the season where a case they're working on triggers flashbacks to this guy that promised to show up at Booth's funeral, including a brief shot of Zach exhibiting slightly strange behavior and people starting to mention "post traumatic stress". Then an episode that focuses on Zach starting therapy with Sweets, with some piddly mystery and Sweets getting vaguely suspicious. Next, a big Gorgonzola episode that distracts everyone away from Zach's odd behavior, ending with Zach reverting to perfectly normal (for Zach; also, "too perfect? Hmmm") behavior and calling off therapy. Then a few more aired episodes, finishing with the other "missing" episode that happens between when Booth gets shot and the funeral, where the squints work on a case without him but Bones goes to the hospital every night to fill him in, and a random (weak - he's failing, here) comment
( ... )
Ha! That sounds totally amazing. I am fully comitting all that to my canon memory. As time goes by, I'll get a little fuzzy on specific episode details from aired episodes, and this will all blend right in with my memory of how the season happened.
Now, do we want a crack team of fic writers, or a team of crack fic writers? Because either way it would be excellent.
