I finally finished Merry Brandybuck.  A costume for a friend of mine.  I started it last year before Dragon Con and just did not give my self enough time to complete it.  Of course after Dragon Con it got packed up and sat in the closet for quite sometime.  Then pulled it out, with a better allotment of time, to correct and fine tune for this year ( Read more... )

I have completely taken over the other bedroom.  The cats are not thrilled, but they can still make it to the window so they are appeased for the time being.  The bed is strewn with fabric and patterns, the available floor space contains an ironing board and sewing table.  If the bed wasn't such a good workspace I probably would have carted it to ( Read more... )

WHEW that was a close one! I was packing up stuff for our foray into the world of Ohio, and I could not find my precious Buckeye necklace. The perfect one with leather band and shiny buckeyes! 5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE

4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (or chocolate sauce)
small splash of vanilla extract
1 large coffee mug
