It's not that I've searched around lately, but I'm sure it must be rare to find Uchi related fics these days, particularly about this period of his life. So I couldn't help to read it and it's just so realistic that even after all this time past it was a bit hurtful to read it. I believe those were really Grey Days for him back then and you pictured it really well. The part when he's trying to focus in remembering the lullaby's lyric to avoid thinking of the drama was just heartbreaking. ;~;

hahaha i get what you mean, i haven't seen many uchi fics floating around lately. there's a few but not much. =/ which makes me kinda sad, i have to re-read a lot of old fics but even those, focuses on ryo/uchi relationship. not that i hate that pairing but i kinda wanted a story about uchi by himself, just living his life. i actually find that time period in his life very interesting because i think that's when he grew up the most.
