I woke with Lottie to make her lunch and morning coffee. Sampuss decided to sharpen his claws on Lottie's leg which caused her to spill the coffee all over her work clothes. My good friend Louis left to go back to London this morning. We had breakfast at Copper Kettle before he left, the Vegetarian breakfast was excellent and we had the best window seat. Into town with lottie earlier yesterday. The weather was good but slightly marred by money worries. Recent events have told me that life is too short and what is tactile, solid and colourful now could, in time, become little more than an impression of something that I may not even be able to put my finger on.
