Today I was out in a local town. There were a bunch of kids around, so I gave one of them a bottle of water. He then asked for food, and I told him I was sorry and didn't have any. I think single people can adopt. Might be a little more difficult, but I think it's possible. Especially for children who really have nothing...

Realistically I could never do it. Being gone half the time for work wouldn't look too good on the application, even if it did mean taking a child away from a war zone.
