There's a lot of free time that comes along with my job. If there isn't a call, there really isn't a whole lot to do. This has resulted in me watching an embarrassing number of television series. I did a decent amount of reading today for one of my classes. I decided to take a small break and get on the internet. Two hours later, I'm still here. All that I've managed to do is upload a new photo into both myspace and livejournal as well as send out one e-mail. I really need to become a more disciplined student.

i've been awake for about the past thirty hours, and i can't seem to fall asleep. i don't really feel awake, just in this permanent dream-like state. I am now single.

Today I was out in a local town. There were a bunch of kids around, so I gave one of them a bottle of water. He then asked for food, and I told him I was sorry and didn't have any. Today while driving around the local town, i noticed a small young boy, probably four years old, that had blonde hair and blue eyes. Something tells me his "dad" isn't from around here.

I think that I'm going to reenlist for another four years. Despite the direct negative effects on my educational and social growth, I actually really like my job. Plus, I have absolutely no idea what I would do otherwise. With the economy the way it is, I don't mind having job security for the next four years doing something that I like.
