We work like a block away from each other.
I'm at the corner of Hastings and Hornby.

or maybe it's Hastings and Howe? I always get those two mixed up!

Lou! I had considered photoshopping Cherie in, but instead we watched Princess Bride with Cherie's grandmother.

I'd say the food was good. It was quite expensive, perhaps a little to rich for our blood, and I think for that price the food would have somehow been a bit better. Yes, there were fancy waiters and we had salad forks and soup spoons. It seemed someone was hovering over us a fair bit switching appetizer plates, setting drinks in very particular spots. Cherie and I got to the point where we just started stacking our own dishes so they wouldn't do their thing! A bit much for us, but we had fun not conforming too.

For eating a meal it's pretty hard to beat the view. There are some nice lookouts on the north shore mountains but they're not quite as comfortable and I doubt I could convince Cherie to cycle up! Definitely worth it at least once.
