On Holidays, Families, and the vehicularly deceased

I get to spend Thanksgiving with my parents. Each year, my Aunt and Uncle come from Kansas City to hang out for a few days, which I've generally missed because of Black Friday and the fact that I was working retail a year ago. Sounds like our holiday family experiences are suddenly reversed. I AM SO SORRY.

You can always be like 'OMG TRISH NEEDS ME EMERGENCY' and leave. Just makes sure it's a good excuse... like I need a van or an engineer or a giant zipper... yeah... I'll think of something better.
