At some point, I seriously need to geek at you about giant robots; specifically Transformers: Animated. Let's see -

- comparatively positive attitude towards transhumanism!

- a somewhat different take on Megatron/Decepticons that I think you'd like~ LET'S SEE - Autobots are NOT all good, while they TRY they can be VERY AUTHORITARIAN in some ways. Megatron's actually a bit of a freedom fighter, though the years of struggle have turned him into a tyrant and a monster; he'd ask what choice he had, though, he's trying to undo the system and get freedom and stuff! Did I mention he's trying to get hold of an all-powerful source of life in order to remake Cybertron for this purpose? Sounds like someone else we know~ Eloquent and well-spoken too.

I've really liked Megatron from the bits I've seen of him. Transformers was my childhood OBSESSION (but I mean like...when I was 2-3 years old) so I'd be interested in learning more....
and yay! Robots at least means that if people ARE being slashed, its not in that human way.

I've also got more than a little bit of fondness for G1 myself; though my favourites are Starscream and Shockwave. And, well, on the Autobot side I have a soft spot for Perceptor, Prowl, and Ratchet.

My opinion on slash with robots is that, well, they're not a sexually dimorphic species anyway so how the heck is it slash? Even if there are 'female' robots they're not female in the human sense so... what?

Don't like certain pairings still though.
