This time of the year I have more opportunity to write. It is easy to rule when you let it be a community where everyone has their right to their saying. You do know that I never agreed with the way Ada ruled Eryn Lasgalen. I do not think the elves preferred it. Even if I do not like it, I can understand that you have to continue the way of Kingship in Minas Tirith. Have you less to do now during the winter now that the weather is cold?
As I mention it is less here now. The crops are growing slower so we can not do as much in our gardens even if most of us have no problem of the chill. There are a few houses that we are building when there is a marriage and a new family is formed. It is great to see that there is so much more hope among us than it was a few years ago. Hopefully there will never be darkness as it was until Frodo managed to destroy the ring.
The only thing keeping me from being completely happy is that I still have not found my bondmate. I dream of finding her, but as many of my kind have left these shores it suddenly feels like I have less of a chance. Another thing that influences me is that many of my dearest friends are no longer here and the few that are will be leaving all to soon as well. After that you are gone I probably will build a ship and sail to Valinor.
I hope in a months time to come and visit you. I would have done it earlier if I had not received a message telling me that Ada is on the way. Actually, I expect him any day now.
