I should be reading for my four classes tommorrow, but right now, i just felt the need to write, to let the pressures of my first week back out in words

Watch out if that professor starts talking about the right of a nation to wage war, or on the other end, why nations have no right to do the same. I think 'necessity' might be a better word. And yes, sometimes it's a sham, but war is a human fact.

You need to read Empire! It would totally tie in with the idea of a nation-state and war. Also, it would give me someone to talk to about it. :-)

Middle Eastern Literature sounds like fun. Let me know what else you have to read, I want to read, too!
