Aqua Dot Recall

Yeah, that's pretty sad. I haven't bought the kids any toys in a very very long time, and haven't been affected by the recalls, but with Christmas coming up, and the huge toy demand, I am curious to see what else becomes hazardous.

How sad. And how exactly do you explain this kind of thing to a child? Ya know?

Jolie was actually in the car with me when we heard the news on the radio...we were on our way to her school. She asked what happened and I told her it was toxic and dangerous for kids. She had a couple recalled Barbie toys that had too much lead. It's horrible how people cut corners and use the cheaper but toxic materials to put into toys.

It's too bad that the government don't do a beter job to prevent hazardous toys from being distributed in the first place--it's always when innocent children get hurt. [Kind of like putting stop lights and crosswalks, they don't do anything until people get killed...]

DAMN! Thanks for the heads up I hadn't heard of the recall, and this is actually one of the things that J had on his list for Christmas and I was eager to get my hands on it too ;). But with the mischievous lil one in the house, looks like it's a NO!

The toy did look neat in the beginning and I was tempted to buy it for Jolie provided that she'd play with it in the backyard away from Tyler's reach...Good thing we didn't buy it!
