How did you find out that Santa Claus wasn't 'real'? And do you remember your reaction? My in-laws bought Jolie a Little Mermaid Hair Salon/ vanity last Christmas, and she still believes that Santa gave it for her. [She had asked Santa when we took pics at the shopping center]

My parents had a 'ritual' on xmas eve. We had to go to bed extra early ('cos Santa won't come unless we sleep) and the next morning our presents are there. My elder sis was 2 years older than me, so we were close and did things together including finding out about Santa. After a few years we put 2 and 2 together and found out that our parents (my dad) goes shopping on the eve to get all our presents because the supermarket is open till late on the eve. It truth came slow over the years, so we were not disappointed but were rather amaze that they could 'fool' us for so long. But we were told to help keep the secret from our other two younger siblings. Jolie is a smart kid so I guess she will find it out herself, IMHO I think it's better that way instead of being told to 'grow-up' cos Santa doesn't exist.

We'll let her believe in him for as long as possible! Yup, she's smart alright...sometimes too smart for her own good.
