Finally...an update

Hello to the LJ world. It's been like forever since I last updated, and I blame my hiatus on my crrrazy and hectic school/family life. Other than being a busy bee, things have been going well in my life. Lots to update so here goes:

Thanks Jen. We're all really excited!!! But I have this huge fear, like whether I'll still be an equally good mom now that my attention will be split among 2 kids.

I felt the same way when I was pregnant with Jewel. But, somehow you forget about the feeling once you have the second. I loved Jewel just as much as I loved Kai, and it was tiring in the beginning, as it is when youhave a newborn, but we got on a 'routine' and it wasn't so bad. Kai just turned 2 when I had Jewel, and it was a little difficult, but Jolie is older and she will be a better helper. :)

I can say though, that it's a lot more fun with two of them! I love having two! (then maybe 3 next year after we get married)

I just know Jolie will be a great big sis. She adores little babies and I sure want my children to grow up together because I didn't get that w/ my own siblings. We had a huge age gap--my sister and I are 10 years and my brother and I are 13 years apart. I definitely felt more like a "mom" than a sister to them. But at least we didn't have much sibling rivalry.

I've been told by some ppl they get "second child syndrome"...like milestones aren't as special, they take less photos of the second child stuff like that...i wonder if they're exaggerating???

Thanks! It's going well. I still have some little things to do/plan. It's so much planning just for ONE day. I'm trying to keep it as stress free as I possibly can.

YAY!!! Congratulations. I know how you were going back and forth on the baby issue.

Jolie is getting so big. Wowsers. We're headed to the Happiest Place on Earth next week. I'm super duper excited.
