As you may have noticed from my last post--I ficced! It felt pretty good getting a story out, even if it was a pretty short story. But, in a new fandom! Pushing those comfort zones, eh?
Thanks, hon! I'm getting a decent start on it all. Posted in my journal and did 10 minutes of Pilates, today. Not quite 30 minutes of writing, but it's putting words on the page, which qualifies. :D And I also bought my tickets for WisCon, yesterday. More socializing was on my list of four month goals, so that's one step in that direction.
Thank you! It's a slow haul, but I'm checking many things off my "should have been done long ago" list beyond what I listed here or on any of the other lists. One of the biggest was getting online access to my Fidelty 401k. I had no idea what my investments have been doing for the past five years and I will be retiring in 10 years! That's important! And they are doing much better than I expected, so there was no angsting over them. Plus, I was able to tweak a few of my funds; I feel much more in control of not just those, but my entire life.
I've resisted therapy for a number of years, because I know myself and I wasn't ready to do the work yet. It finally came time and I told myself to pull up my big girl panties and get it done.
