"The problem with defending the purity of the English language is that English is about as pure as a cribhouse whore. We don't just borrow words; on occasion, English has pursued other languages down alleyways to beat them unconscious and rifle their pockets for new vocabulary."

I have something resembling Andi's, but with grammar instead of vocabulary. It a bummer sticker I put up on my front board in the classroom.
I also put up the Gashy-Crumb Tinies, because every english classroom needs an alphabet.

Hunter knows that poem by heart.

I showed that and various others, including The Curious Sofa (which suggests ALL manner of adult activities) to his teacher. She at one point set down the latter unguarded, but the Gashlycrumb Tinies she hid behind her back when any kids came near, like Playboys at church.
