Dawn i know a dog who would rid your yard of moles and voles he is an expert search and destoyer..BLAZE...yesterday he was so upset that he could not get the critter that is holed up in a drainpipe he was stress boy all day and night long he runs to and fro up the length of the pipe and suddenly stops and grabs at the pipe and howls, there is also some sort of critter hiding out by the air conditioner perhaps a lizard...nutso cant seem to get to that either bit he was successful in eating two wood bees he effortlessly jumps in the air and gulp their gonners...(he is also breathtaking when he runs and jumps over things, in that he has such grace) the massive hole that i have pulled chinamen out of has been ignored for now because of his new drain pipe quest...

heh - you would think so with all the plants that come in and out of this place!
i work for my best friend doing garden design, restoration and spring/fall clean-up and maintenance. we also fill containers. i'll be trying my hand at creating things made of hypertufa as soon as i get enough time and $ to play with. *:)
Oh my!!! I just read up on what hypertufa is and YOU my dear Garden Goddess are ambitious!
You know what my problem is??? I like to do everything. Too much really and as such I don't get to spend enough time enjoying any one thing. So, while my current interests are inside my home, my garden then feels like a burden since it's not something I can focus on in whole and I wish I could. Everytime I walk in the house, I just sigh because it's going to be at least another month before I can give my garden and yard the the attention it deserves.
people keep telling me this but i don't even know how or ~where~ to begin.
i recently discovered that photo-editing makes all the difference. the original pic of the lavender beds... um - sucked. but cropping it to a small sun-lit corner made it magical.

I need to scale back and prioritize my interests.

Your photographs are quite professional and could accompany your text.
You could talk about God in your garden, which certainly seems to be the case.
I love your garden stories, even the lists.

You are a true gardener, and should write a book.
