So I'm having this problem where part of my right hand has been numb for the past 24 hours. It's really annoying, and let me tell you, it's making typing quite fun. Benji suggested it might be carpal tunnel, but I read up on that and it turns out the the nerve that gets squished in carpal tunnel affects the thumb and first two fingers on your hand ( Read more... )

It definitely sounds like a nerve problem. My uncle damaged a nerve in his elbow, and his hand was going numb. If that's what it is, it can also lead to muscle atrophy. Surgery was required in his case.

Hey, sorry I never got back to you. I haven't had internet since the move and it makes things complicated. Hope things are going well. Things are crazy for me, as always. I'll try to catch up with you before long.
