Heh. I've gained most of that in a similar time period, and the doctor said it was the only time in my life I'd gain so much weight so fast. (I countered with Hollywood actors gaining weight for roles, but I'm pretty sure she meant in general.)

In other words, you've been losing weight faster than you should ever gain it back, barring other medical issues. I think the portion control is the most important part of it, but eating healthier won't hurt regardless.

Congrats on reducing your diabetes danger!

Thank you. :) The danger is still there, but much lessened. And eating healthy isn't so bad after all.

Since the last half of January, so closer to 4 months. The drawback to all this is I have to buy all new clothes and I hate clothes shopping.

Congratulations. The fact that you're viewing it as a lifestyle change and not just a diet indicates that you'll be having long term success, I bet!

Thank you. I do have a motivating factor, my uncle had diabetes and had major complications towards the end of his life and I don't want to wind up like him, so I have to make changes now. :)
