So the quick and dirty update about the diet, as of Wednesday night I have lost 50 pounds. I haven't check my glucose levels yet, but I'm now well past the recommended 5-7% weight loss from the class I took. I guess I was eating lots of REALLY BAD foods before, or maybe too much bad food

In other words, you've been losing weight faster than you should ever gain it back, barring other medical issues. I think the portion control is the most important part of it, but eating healthier won't hurt regardless.
