So featherfish and I were discussing Sherlock Holmes 2: Game of Weirdos and I ended up writing chatfic about the end of the movie. If you haven't seen it, there are spoilers, though not that anyone couldn't guess before seeing the movie. Or having read EMPT and every story that came after that. Um.

Holmes types the question mark
LEAVES
and Watson spends the whole honeymoon neurotically obsessing
and like
doesn't have sex with Mary at all
and spends the whole time wondering if Holmes snuck into his study and typed a question mark JUST TO FUCK WITH HIM, because god he just KNOWS Holmes would

"Carry on, don't mind me"

and Watson is like GOD I KNEW IT WAS YOU WITH THE QUESTION MARK, FUCK YOU

but also grateful
because he thought he was going insane and also is glad that Holmes is alive
and Holmes just like does not even seem to notice
but HE ACTUALLY DOES

and mentions it to Watson, he actually apologizes for making Watson think he was dead
even though it was only for like two months
"It could have been worse, it could have been three years"
and Watson responds with
"If you reappeared after three years I would have killed you, I wouldn't have had to mourn either"
