I think Fried doesn't really care, it's just Luxus as the new master probably shouldn't kill everyone in the guild off, Fried seems very practical

It didn't seem like a "if you kill people we won't have any members left, you moron" kind of reaction, though, he seemed really shocked.

Either way, though, he's obviously not bloodthirsty.

I think he's a very dark character by the way Luxus sent him off as Fried the dark and by the fact he's confident of killing them and thinks Luxus might struggle. But at the same time, he does seem to have more of a conscious then Luxus, I get the feeling he's very powerful, therefore confident he can remove people at will, but doesn't agree with killing them

Yeah, that all makes sense to me. And that's why I like him - he is pretty evil, but he has a conscience with it, whereas Luxus is acting more like a thug at the moment.
