Okay, maybe this wasn't quite as hard as I thought.
I mean, I could almost have gone for Jack or Rory, but I realised while I trying to figure this out - that's "almost". And I do love them both, just like I love Romana and Nyssa and Adric, but in the end, unless the Master suddenly turns around and starts travelling with the Doctor and becomes a good guy, which is never gonna happen...
...it's always gonna be her, isn't it?
And yeah, she's brave and tough and compassionate and cleverer than she seems, but lots of companions are those things, so really, I can't even tell you why. I just love Rose Tyler.
