I think it's time for some major changes

I got back from my eye appointment a little while ago...and I was feeling well...rather shallow. I don't know why...I just was. So I went looking through all my lj posts for reassurance that I'm actually a deeper person than I feel like I am right now. You know what I noticed? In all of my posts for the last...forever....are vague..and they get

omg i know exactly what you mean.... everything is so vague bc of the off chance that one person may read it.... and so it doesnt even help to write in here anymore bc its not liek i'm getting to actuallly say what i want. i wonder why it was different in teh beginning?

exactly! it's like..you want to write about something but oops...don't want to offend that person...or oops...if i write that people might get on my case. It seems to me that a lot of people now (you and me included) are sharing this frustration. What i did today was make my journal friends only (dont worry, you're included!)..and then make custom friends lists so that i can choose who will see the posts. That way I don't have to worry anymore. You could try something like that? I think its a shame to give it up because of others....

Maybe it was different in the beginning because when a lot of us started this LJ thing....our lives were more simple. But now that there's so much crap everywhere, its hard for us to write something without being afraid that the one person you don't want to read it, might do so.

People should just go away. lol
