Rocky Climby

It's heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere!!! My most unique-est LEGO set ever!!

For those that didn't know (pretty much everyone except solartempest), I did a "Design By Me" (which is really just a glorified pick-a-brick) order on LEGO.com. I've been waiting for too long for it to arrive. But it came in today~~ (Or maybe yesterday; wasn't home to pick up the mail ( Read more... )

(I was amused that I could order, like, 500 of them if I wanted to. XD)

I love your "rocky climby wall" - but still feel that Kevin should be swatted on the back of the head (reasonably gently) for that one. ;)

edit: Personally I want to see your awesome lego stingrays!

When everything's not all over the place/stuck wherever I had space at the time, come over to check them out. :D Heck, come over without a reason to see LEGO, too. XD; ...though it'll have to be after there's actual space to move/sit. :T The state of this place is...still quite terrible.

This is one of the best LEGO sets ever created =)
I can't believe you named it Rocky Climby!

The box and instructions look incredible too <3

That's how stuck for names I was. :p In retrospect, I should've just gone with Rockheads. Ah, well.

I'm so glad for those instructions!! Even if I'm going to ignore most of the ones for the holds.

Hehe, I remember a review for that game that said it was a good idea but they needed more bricks than what came with the game. Unrelatedly, a giant tub of bricks has recently come into my possession. :3 It's a shame the game is so expensive, though. And honestly...I have the creativity of a fruitfly. I probably wouldn't do very well in a game that requires a lot of creative thinking on the spot. :/

I was actually contemplating getting this game so I could have fun coloured phone pieces to use on my wall. But...so expensive for just 8 pieces...

Cool, I didn't know you could do that. That's a big manual to tell you how to assemble a... wall.

I'll have to take a look at your lego collection sometime.

The Design-By-Me? Yeah, they've had it for ages! I wasn't going to use it originally because I thought I wouldn't be able to make slopey walls but they have a function that does that! That function's a bit limited and tricky to use (the first time I tried it, it flipped my entire set off the base of the program and I wasn't able to get it back down again; it was my test-the-program-functions set so it didn't really matter in the end).

That manual ended up being mega useful! (And it was free, anyway.) I'm rather forgetful so a lot of times I do a pick-a-brick, I don't remember where some of the pieces go/are for (and it doesn't help that I keep losing the pieces of paper that I tell me what they are for)

Haha, do~ Though wait until this place is less messy and I've consolidated my collection a little lot better. ^^

*laughs* Okay, true enough. :) Let me rephrase "messy" with "when there's actual space for people to move around (and not just one pathway through the living/dining room)", then please do. XD;
